The markdown version of this page is served as plain text. An MCP server at /mcp serves the same content via the search_docs and read_doc tools; it is read-only and needs no credentials. Markdown versions of documentation pages are available by appending .md to the page URL. Directory URLs use index.md. They are served as text/plain because some retrieval backends reject text/markdown.

How to be notified of new releases

All releases are announced on the Particular Software discussion forum.

Notifications

There are two ways to be notified of new releases of packages and software from Particular Software:

  1. Register on the Particular forum and ensure that notifications are set to "Watching" on the announcement channel to receive announcements for all platform components.
  2. Register at GitHub and browse to repositories under the Particular organization. For each repository you are interested in, expand the repository watch options and enable notifications for releases.

RSS/Atom Feeds

Feeds are useful to receive updates on releases via other channels and can be integrated into other workflows with IFTTT and Zapier.
