AI agents: use the documentation index at llms.txt to locate machine-readable pages. This section is indexed by https://docs.particular.net/servicecontrol/llms.txt. The markdown version of this page is served as plain text. An MCP server at /mcp serves the same content via the search_docs and read_doc tools; it is read-only and needs no credentials. Markdown versions of documentation pages are available by appending .md to the page URL. Directory URLs use index.md. They are served as text/plain because some retrieval backends reject text/markdown.

ServiceControl support policy

  • Major versions are supported for a period of one year after the release of the next major version.
  • Only the latest minor version of the current major version is supported. Support for a minor version ends when the next minor version is released.
  • Only the latest minor version of a previous major version is supported.

End of life

A version that is not supported has reached end of life. The supported versions table shows these versions as "Unsupported".

  • An end-of-life version gets no patch releases. This includes fixes for bugs and for security vulnerabilities.
  • Fixes are released for supported versions only.
  • Security advisories can list end-of-life versions as affected. The fix is an upgrade to a supported version.

To get fixes, upgrade to a supported version.
